Operation Reel Life Inc. is a veteran founded and family operated organization. After serving 11 years in the Marine Corps, I discovered something simple but life-changing—fishing. What started as a way to pass time quickly became a powerful outlet to cope with everyday stress, clear my mind, and reconnect with a sense of peace. Fishing gave me the ability to slow down, breathe, and take in the world around me. It became more than just a hobby—it became a form of healing. Through that experience, my family and I saw an opportunity to share this with other veterans who may be searching for the same sense of relief, purpose, and connection.

 

Our mission is to create free fishing events for veterans, offering not only an introduction to the sport but also a welcoming space to build community. We aim to bring veterans together where they can talk openly about their day-to-day lives, share resources, seek guidance on employment or medical care, or simply connect with others who truly understand their experiences.

 

As a family-run organization, everything we do is rooted in care, trust, and a deep commitment to giving back to those who have served. Whether someone is picking up a fishing rod for the first time or just looking for a supportive community, we are here to help. We believe that healing and purpose can sometimes be found in the simplest moments—standing by the water, casting a line, and knowing you’re not alone.
